“ Bjelleklang (Norwegian: lit. Bell Sounds, col. Jingle Bells) is a Norwegian a cappella vocal group, formed in 1986, who have released several albums. The band performs both song with only a cappella and songs with guitar or other unconventional music instruments like stir pans or pots. The repertoire includes songs written by its members and cover songs with Norwegian lyrics, often with a humoristic twist.
The first album, Dæng Dæng was released in 1991, they have altogether published eight studio albums and one collection album, all produced Håkon Iversen. Both the debut album and several of the succeeding ones have sold to gold or platina.
The albumet Holiholihooo … released in 1992 is the best-selling album, with more than 70.000 copies sold, whereas the single «Gud! hvor du er deilig» sold 40.000.
