Biography

Formation and self titled album: 1997-2000
In march 1997, Matt Moseman formed Edgewater. Matt managed to find members by looking through local newspapers and magazines.It began as a four piece with Matt playing guitar, instead of only focusing on vocals.In march 1998, Micah Creel, Jeremy "Worm" Rees, and Justin "Shorty" Middleton of 40% would join, thus making the complete lineup (at the time). They would release their self titled album in July 1999. The band began headlining local and regional venues in support of their album, which was only released locally.

Lifter And South of Sideways: 2001-2004
The band released Lifter in 2001, and began touring and showcasing it across the country.In January 2003, Ricky Wolking would replace the original bass player, thus preserving the 5 piece lineup. In June, Edgewater signed to major label Wind-up records and began [......] ”
