“ Relish are a Northern Irish rock band, composed of brothers Ken (vocals and guitar) and Carl (drums, keyboards and vocals) Papenfus, and Darren Campbell (bass and vocals). They have released three albums: 2001's "Wildflowers" (Platinum -15,000+ Sold), "Karma Calling" (Gold 7,500+ Sold) in 2003 (both of these were on the EMI Ireland label), and a 2009 Japan-only release, "Three Times".The band are perhaps best known for the songs "Rainbow Zephyr" and "You I'm Thinking Of", from their debut album, "Wildflowers". The former (a big Irish radio hit in its own right) was covered by Westlife with slightly changed lyrics and released as a single "Hey Whatever", while the latter reached #8 in the Irish singles charts.
Relish were fully formed by the mid 1990s when the brothers ran into bass player Darren Campbell. The band signed to EMI in 1998 and immediately caught the attention of famed producer John Leckie (The Stone Roses, Radiohead) who got them into the studio to begin recording.
Fans of the band include Brian May of Queen and Larry Mullen of U2.
As of March 2006, the band had completed recording and were in the final stages of mixing their third album,"Three Times", but had not announced a [......] ”
